Emergency Preparedness Information


RABIES FOUND IN DELAWARE COUNTY - if you should find a bat in your home please notify animal control.  Bats are considered high-risk exposure for rabies.  Their saliva or body fluids, by being splashed on you, or something you might touch, can put you at risk.  If a contact incident occurs or cannot be ruled out, the animal should be tested for rabies. People who have likely been contacted should seek medical advice immediately.  All calls involving bats, please notify animal control immediately at delaware county animal control 610-522-1113 24 hours/7 days a week. Locksley
Garden Club Scholarship Opportunity

The Locksley Garden Club is pleased to offer a scholarship toward higher education to a student planning to pursue a career in the plant sciences.  For more information, please contact Mary Ann Watson at 610-399-0426.

 

Stephen Krystow, of Thornbury Township, is the winner of the Locksley Garden Club Horticultural Scholarship. Stephen will graduate from Bayard Rustin High School in June and will attend Delaware Valley College. He plans to major in turf management.
