My fellow Supervisors and I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some information and comments.
We have been working with the Sewer Committee and our professionals on sewer districts on the Western portion of our township. This has certainly been a work in progress. We held a joint meeting with the committee and professionals which we had a tremendous turn out of residents in the areas affected. All comments that were received during the meeting were noted along with any and all comments received either verbally or sent to the township building. We have worked out some items since that meeting and plan to hold a follow up session in the very near future. We will, as always, send out notes to everyone letting them know when we will meet next and welcome your input.
With the beautiful weather upon us, please enjoy our parks. Once again we will be having our Fourth Friday of every month during the Summer, last year was a “BLAST”.
We have many areas to explore around our township besides Thornbury Park. Our passive recreation is second to none: Bonner Park, Martin Park, and Palmer Arboretum (which our Park and Recreation Board has given us a beautiful upgrade plan, stay tuned). We have brochures available at the township building showing trails that have been established through the woods by our volunteer boards. The peace and tranquility will make you come back!
In closing, have a great Summer, and we will see you around town!
Jim Raith, Chairman
