Hello fellow residents!
It is hard to believe that yet another school year has passed. As we look forward to the summer months drive carefully while remember that our children are out and about on foot and bikes.
We are pleased to inform you that the Board of Supervisors has once again approved the Fourth Friday Events at Thornbury Park. This year the events will be held on the following Fridays: June 25th, July 23rd, August 27th, September 24th. The following are the events currently planned:
June 25th “Family Picnic in the Park” Featuring a strolling Magician and live music by the Goose Creek Pioneers with the Movie following at dusk. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs with your favorite picnic basket, and we’ll provide the soft drinks.
July 24th “Wet & Wild Splash Party” Lots of Water Fun and Sand Castle building featuring Chuck Feld of Sand Pounders with the Movie following at dusk. Prepare to get wet and don’t forget your towel.
August 27th Local favorite “Makin Music” will perform for the kids with the Movie following at dusk. Get ready to sing and dance.
September 24th “Season Grand Finale” The Movie will begin at dusk with a Spectacular Fireworks Display to follow.
Also, don’t forget to join your neighbors at the Fourth of July parade to be held on Monday July 5, 2010. Have a great summer.
